Siro Flow Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Siro Flow is a Windows app that turns your speech into text: you hold a key, speak, and the text is typed into the app you are using. It is published by Siro AI Advisor ("we", "us"), a business in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Contact: siroaiadvisor@gmail.com.

2. Two ways to use Siro Flow

• With your own API keys (free, no account). Your audio and text go straight from your computer to the speech and AI services you chose, using your own keys. No Siro Flow server is involved and we receive nothing.
• With a Siro Flow account (Siro Flow Cloud). You sign in with your e-mail. Your audio and text then pass through our server, which forwards them to our speech-to-text and AI providers and returns the result. We do not store your audio or your dictated text.

3. What the app does with your voice and text

• Microphone. It is used only while you hold the dictation key. Nothing is recorded in the background.
• Speech-to-text. The recording is sent over an encrypted connection to ElevenLabs (and to Groq or OpenAI if the first fails), with your own key, or through our server if you use Siro Flow Cloud. These companies process your audio under their own terms and privacy policies.
• Text clean-up. The transcript is sent to Groq's language model to remove filler words and add punctuation, together with the name and kind of the app you are typing into (for example "outlook, email") and the names and terms from your personal dictionary. The window title is never sent.

4. What we collect when you create an account

• E-mail address, to sign you in and to send you the sign-in code.
• Name, country and what you mostly use Siro Flow for (and, if you choose "Something else", the words you type). We ask so we can understand who uses the product and improve it.
• Your plan and usage: the minutes of dictation and the number of clean-ups each month, to apply the limits of the free and paid plans. No content is kept.
• Your choice about product news, with the time you made it. It is off unless you tick the box, and you can change it at any time.
• Which Siro AI products you use and how you first found us (for example the website or Siro Flow). Siro Flow shares one customer record with other Siro AI services, such as our website, so one e-mail address is one account.
• Payments (when paid plans are available) are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number; we keep only Stripe's customer reference and the state of your subscription.
• Password (optional). If you choose one, it is stored by our authentication provider in hashed form. We cannot read it.

5. Where it is processed, and for how long

Account data is kept with our database provider, Supabase, in a data centre in the United States (Amazon Web Services), and is operated and accessed from Canada, so it is processed in both countries. Sign-in e-mails are sent through Resend. We keep your account data while your account exists. Deleting your account deletes your profile, your list of Siro AI products, your subscription record and your usage. Billing records are kept by Stripe as the law requires.

6. What stays on your PC

• Your API keys are stored in Windows Credential Manager, encrypted for your Windows account.
• Your sign-in session is stored encrypted for your Windows account, so you stay signed in. Signing out deletes it.
• History. The text of your recent dictations (raw and cleaned) is kept in a small local database so you can paste the last one again. It is kept for 30 days by default and can be switched off or cleared in Settings. Audio is never stored.
• Your dictionary, snippets and style settings are plain files in your user profile.

7. What we do not do

The Siro Flow app has no advertising, no analytics and no telemetry, and we do not sell or share your data. (Our website, siroaiadvisor.com, is covered by its own privacy policy.)

8. E-mails

We send you the sign-in code and messages about your account. We send product news and tips only if you ticked the box, and every such message has an unsubscribe link. This follows Canada's anti-spam law (CASL).

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent for product news, at any time by writing to siroaiadvisor@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also remove the app to stop all processing, clear your history in Settings, or remove your keys. To delete data held by ElevenLabs, Groq, OpenAI or Stripe, use those services' own controls. If you are in Canada, the European Union or California, you have the rights that the laws there give you, including the right to complain to the privacy regulator.

10. Children

Siro Flow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes
